For nearly half a century, families across the tri-state area have known us as K&S Music. When we took over the business in early 2026, we weren’t looking to reinvent anything — just to carry it forward.
The name is becoming Tunepike. A pike is a road, and our job is to be the one that carries every musician’s journey forward — from a first rental to a first chair, and everything after.
What’s staying the same
- The same people. The folks who pick up the phone and set up your instrument aren’t going anywhere.
- The same service. Same workshop, same setup on every instrument, same care.
- Your account and rentals. Nothing about your current rental, equity, or contract changes.
What’s new
- A fresh name, look, and website built to make renting, shopping, and getting repairs easier.
- A modern rental portal that’s simpler to use and simpler to manage.
- An increasing list of instruments and brands to choose from (more to come!).
That’s really the whole story: same great people, same great service — a new name on a door that’s almost fifty years old.
